In addition, there are some less fatal but well-documented chronic health effects of acute carbon monoxide poisoning from exposure to carbon monoxide gas accumulation in lower amounts.
For example these effects can be such as lethargy, headaches, concentration problems, amnesia, psychosis, Parkinson’s disease, memory impairment, and personality alterations, to name a few. (Cal. Health & Safety Code § 13261.)
However, all these problems can be prevented in a home if a carbon monoxide detector is installed at the right location.
